Discover the plants and animals that like the wet and wild side of life as we walk along the Deep River Trail! We will meander along the Piedmont Environmental Center's only permanent stream, get up close to a beaver dam and scan High Point City Lake for herons, ducks and kingfishers as we hike along the shoreline trail.

Participants need to dress for outdoor adventure and bring water. We will meet at the Jamestown Park and Golf Course entrance promptly at 10 a.m. to begin our adventure. Click here to register: https://bit.ly/4wJe30m.

Since opening weekend was a washout, let’s try this again. The pools at Washington Terrace and High Point City Lake Aquatic Center are open and ready for you!

Before you head over for fun in the sun, make sure your OOTD is pool-approved!

That means:
✅ Swimsuit
✅ Flip-flops
✅ Sunscreen
✅ Confidence

🚫 Not approved:
❌ Jeans (this isn’t an underwater rodeo)
❌ Work clothes (your boss isn’t here, chill)
❌ A three-piece suit (unless you're James Bond, and even then...maybe not)
❌ That colored t-shirt from 2007 with holes and regrets
