"When everyone else is running away from danger, they run into it.”
– Dwayne Johnson 🚒🚑🚓💨

Today we honor the brave men and women who answer the call — day or night, rain or shine. 🌞🌧🌙

On National First Responders Day, we want to thank all firefighters, paramedics, police officers, dispatchers, and emergency personnel who dedicate their lives to protecting our communities.

At High Point Fire Department, we’re proud to stand alongside our fellow first responders and serve the people of High Point with courage, compassion, and commitment.

Most of the time this job is thankless, so if you see a first responder today, take a moment to say thank you — your appreciation means more than you know. ❤️🔥

✅ Never toss lithium-ion batteries in the trash or recycling bin
✅ Take them to a proper drop-off location
✅ If it’s damaged or swollen, handle with care

Some approved take back locations in the High Point area are:

-Home Depot or Lowes
-Republic/ EcoFlo 2750 Patterson Dr Greensboro, NC
-HHW Events (next event Nov 15th, 2025)

Watch our vintage flick and keep those sparks where they belong—with Sparky! 💥🐾

Last week, members of the High Point Fire Department spent the morning at Oak View Elementary School teaching our youngest community members about fire safety! 🧯👩🏽‍🚒

Students had a blast learning what firefighters do, exploring the fire truck, and discovering how to stay safe in an emergency. It’s never too early to learn how to protect ourselves and others! 🙌

A big thank-you to the teachers and staff at Oak View Elementary for welcoming us — and to all the amazing students for their excitement and curiosity. ❤️

🩷 Supporting the Fight Against Breast Cancer 🩷

This past Friday, High Point Fire was honored to participate in the Breast Cancer 5K Walk for Randolph County, NC with our pink fire truck. As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we brought the truck out to help raise awareness and show support for those in our community affected by breast cancer.

Community members had the opportunity to sign the truck in memory or honor of loved ones who have bravely fought this disease. It was powerful to see the messages of hope, strength, and remembrance cover every inch!

All proceeds from the event went directly to the Cone Health Cancer Center, supporting uninsured and underinsured patients with access to mammograms and treatment.

We’re proud to stand with our community in the fight against breast cancer. Thank you to everyone who came out, donated, and shared their stories with us! 🩷🚒

• High Point MRF 5875 Riverdale Dr, Jamestown, NC
• Republic / EcoFlo 2750 Patterson Dr, Greensboro, NC
• Eventos HHW (próximo evento: 15 de noviembre de 2025)
