Hello Southwest,

This is your proud principal, Dr. Richmond, calling about EOG and EOC testing.

Next week, we put all our faith and our fate into the hands of our students. I am confident that our kids will amaze beyond our wildest dreams. As we prepare for our end of year testing, please remember the following.

-Students need to be on time or even early, this especially means our car riders. If students show up after testing has started, they are not able to enter the testing environment. When students, or any of us, come in late we feel rushed, anxious, and it just does not go well.

-Go to bed the night the before and limit social media. Go to sleep with a clear head and wake up rested.

-Stay focused, stay locked in, and give your all.

-Tell students to believe in themselves. Marianne Williams once said, "Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure."

Testing will start for select students on May 26, but the bulk of testing starts May 27 and continues on. Please see the attachment for specific dates. Students should also be coming home with "my test date" slips to show their specific dates.

We are Southwest Strong!
