What a Fun Football Frenzy Day! Football season has started and the staff had a great time wearing their gear and finding who had a football!

THANK YOU to GROW Healthy Kids, Orlando Health, and Watson Clinic for selecting our Green Hornets to receive GROW Recess kits! Teachers are excited for the equipment that will allow their students to grow their imagination and social skills through play!

Green Hornet Families, mark your calendars!

There will be two Academic & Annual Title One Meeting Nights. Please pay attention to the dates, so you know which one to attend.

Thursday, September 17th from 5:00-6:00 PM is for 3rd Grade students and their families.

Thursday, September 24th from 5:00-6:30 PM is for all other grade levels: Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th grade.

Attention Highland City Parents - here are a few NEW items!

NEW - Each month Highland City Elementary will post a Parent Calendar to help inform everyone on what is happening on campus. The color days are the color rotations for your child's specials schedule.

NEW - Due to food allergies, Highland City Elementary is respectfully stopping birthday cupcakes and any type of food. The staff appreciates your understanding.

NEW - Parents, when your child is tardy, you must come and sign them in. Make sure you have your ID with you.

*If there are any changes during the month. HCE will do their best to keep everyone updated.

Thank you Subaru and especially Subaru of Lakeland! Subaru generously donated a huge box of supplies and a gift card for six teachers to spend on their classroom! They were treated to a wonderful lunch as well! THANK YOU Subaru for supporting our teachers and students.
