We were so excited to have UH AirMed in last week to teach and facilitate an Advanced Airway Course. This course utilizes a mix of manikins and swine lungs to practice different real-life respiratory issues. Airway is a key to paramedicine and it was great to be shown some tips and tricks by the Critical Care Transport team. Also thanks are in order to University Hospitals EMS Institute for facilitating this great educational opportunity!

Just a reminder. Safety/Service Night is tomorrow night from 5p - 7p at the City Park. In addition to local/regional vehicles, there will a be a bounce house for children and a planned landing of University Hospitals AirMed helicopter.

Bring the whole family to meet our First Responders and staff members from the Police, Fire, and Service Departments!

Equipment and large vehicles will be on display, and free burgers, sausage sandwiches, snacks, and giveaways will be available. Please note the new location for this event is at the Highland Heights Community Park.

Our Police Chief, Fire Chief, Service Director, and their staff members look forward to meeting you!
