Today: No person has the right to pollute the property of another. Therefore, we support the use of courts to sue those who destroy the property of another.

Tomorrow: Governments are the largest destroyers of the environment. In fact, most environmental problems can be traced to public, not private, ownership of resources. The solution is to reduce the scope of government, and privatize public property to the maximum extent possible.

We recently contacted NKU's Ombuds service with two issues that affect students. The first deals with discrepancies between FERPA legislation and DoEd regulation on public student directories, which causes a discrepancy in NKU policy and FERPA legislation. The second is the tax on unprepared food items at campus convenience stores. For now, we're looking forward to NKU's first official response to our questions.

Meetings this semester (Spring 2011) are being held Tuesdays at 6:15 PM in the dining area of the student union. Obviously we encourage members to attend if possible. Attendance is not, however, compulsory for members.

Because of our recruiting success, asap, we will be registering as a temporary student organization. This will allow us to have all the benefits of a full student organization and lasts for eight weeks or until we register as a full student organization (the later of the two).

We had an extremely successful recruiting table today. Just based on the number of people who looked at our sign and immediately responded by saying that they were interested in joining our group, we should have enough people to sign up as a registered student organization.
