Concerns are growing over significant delays in the renewal of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) applications, leaving many Dreamers in legal limbo.
DACA recipients (young people who came to the United States as children), must renew their status and work authorization every two years. Increasing processing delays are causing uncertainty for hundreds of thousands of individuals who live, work, study, and contribute to communities across the country.
These delays can have serious consequences, including interruptions in employment, education, and financial stability. At NSLAC, we recognize the vital role Dreamers play in our communities and remain committed to advocating for fair and timely access to immigration benefits.
