Community Partners Making a Difference!

As our local students head back to school, HACSM would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to two wonderful local businesses that partnered with us to help make the start of the school year a little easier for some families in our community.

Trendy Tee’s partnered with HACSM and our clients to provide printed PE shirts for students in grades 6–12.

Shoe Sensation partnered with HACSM and our clients to provide PE shoes for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Back-to-school expenses can add up quickly, and items such as PE shirts and shoes can be an additional cost that is difficult for some families to manage.

We are incredibly grateful to Trendy Tee’s and Shoe Sensation for their compassion, and willingness to partner with HACSM in serving our community ❤️

Join us in Highland this Friday August 21st for the Knights vs Bulldogs game. Entry to the game is a canned food or a cash donation to the pantry of your choice, Ministries Unlimited (Triad) or HACSM Food Pantry (Highland). Support your High School football team and your local pantry. It's a touchdown for our communities no matter who wins!!

📢 Donation Reminder

We are incredibly thankful for the generosity of our community and the many people who support Highland Area Christian Service Ministry through donations.

To help us maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment, we ask that donations NOT be left outside our doors when the pantry is closed. Items left unattended can be damaged by weather, attract pests, create safety hazards, and may not be suitable for distribution.

We also want to remind everyone that we are only able to accept food donations. We cannot accept clothing, furniture, household items, or other non-food donations.

Please bring food donations during our regular operating hours so they can be properly received and stored by our volunteers.

Any items left outside the building after hours, especially non-food items, will be discarded at our discretion.

We sincerely appreciate your cooperation and your continued support as we work together to serve our community.

Whew ! What a day! With dozens of volunteers from Hope Lutheran Church in Highland, 7,320 pounds of food was collected from the community by the letter carriers from the Highland Post Office. Thank you ! We expect a few more deliveries of donated food on Monday.

Schaefer and Sunday have decided what they want to donate tomorrow for the National Letter Carrier’s Association Food Drive - Stamp Out Hunger.

They checked the dates and are not donating food that is past the recommended “best by” dates.

Have your yellow bags filled with donations out early tomorrow morning for your letter carrier to pick up for HACSM Food Pantry.

Hard to believe a year has gone by so quickly - this little kitten Sunday is not a little kitten anymore !

It’s time once again to check your mailbox for a reminder card and/or yellow bag for the National Letter Carrier Association’s Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

The local letter carriers will pick up filled bags this Saturday May 9th. Please have your bags out early !

We are in need of canned pastas such as beef ravioli, canned vegetables like carrots, peas, green beans and corn, “Chunky” ready to serve soups, pasta sides, condiments like ketchup, mustard, mayo and BBQ sauce. Boxed dinner mixes like Hamburger Helper are always in demand - Tuna and Chicken helper too !

Three generations manning the red kettles! Food Pantry Director Fran Eley and her daughter and her granddaughter are collecting donations through the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign. 80% of the funds collected go directly to HACSM. Thank you Fran and your family for all that you do for HACSM ! 💕❤️
