If you have some time to volunteer for this bipartisan effort, I'd argue it's one of the most impactful ways to get involved in local government.
This initiative could increase district representation in Colorado's second-fastest-growing county. Right now, having only a 2-1 vote representing nearly 400,000 residents doesn't fully reflect the unique needs and priorities across different districts.
At this stage, the petition is simply to get the measure on the ballot so voters can decide for themselves in November.
If volunteering isn't an option, you can still help by finding a petition signing event and adding your signature. The campaign needs just over 15,000 valid signatures to qualify for the ballot, with a goal of 20,000 to ensure this requirement is fulfilled.
