Each year, the Foundation for Douglas County Schools hosts the Apple Awards to celebrate exceptional teachers and staff members who go above and beyond for students and their communities.

This is a wonderful opportunity to let an RVMS teacher or staff member know how much they are appreciated! Nominating someone is quick and easy, but nominations close THIS Monday, October 26.

Updated traffic pattern as we return from Fall Break.

Thank you for your patience as we tried out a new traffic flow in the days before Break. We plan to move forward with that route as our more permanent route with some changes based on your feedback and that of our Transportation Department.

Here is what is staying the same:

Thank you to all who have had all student materials (e.g. backpacks, water bottles, band instruments, sporting equipments, etc.) ready for unloading prior to reaching the exit zone. Please continue that practice; it's so helpful!
In RVMS/TRHS shared drop off/pick up loop (the "old" bus loop), please pull forward until you are pointing toward TRHS before starting to drop off your students.
For safety and security, please stay in the one drop off/pick up lane. We do not have a zipper option and want people to stay safe.
We have some folks who need to park in A lot long term. If that is you, please come in as normal and we have advised our security team to let people in who need to park for an extended period of time.

Changes for pick up in the afternoon:

Buses will pick up both TRHS and RVMS students in the original bus loop (where people drop off in the morning).
RVMS parents picking up middle schoolers, please join the buses in the same place you dropped off your students in the morning.
TRHS/Shared RVMS/TRHS parents, please use the middle lane and proceed to A Lot to pick up your students.

We will work hard to ensure we have extra bodies out supporting this change until it becomes more habitual. Thanks to all in helping keep our campus parking lots moving as effectively and safely as possible!

Another may find their place in a CTE classroom.
Another may discover a passion for technology, athletics or a career they've never considered before.
Our job is to make sure students have opportunities to explore those possibilities.
