Just wanted thank these wonderful folks who joined Ranger Williams on the 'Ol Camp Widjiwagan Lantern Guided Hike with a Ranger this beautiful evening!

A bat was spotted in one of the cabins, perfectly timed for Halloween approaching. Also, we finally got to reenact a vintage photo from cabin 8 in the old group camp...just missing the broom and bucket. 🙂

Join Ranger Jackson on October 25th as we paint or draw the colors of Standing Stone State Park in the fall from Lake Kelly!

We will be on the water about 1.5 hours talking about the park and painting the scenery around the lake. Plan on meeting at the Park Office to grab life jackets and then we will head down to the boat dock. Feel free to bring your own art materials/mediums but there will be some provided as well. It will be $15 per person and registration is required.

Never played Ringer before? Meet Ranger Jackson at the Rec Hall to learn how to play! Ringer is a traditional marble game played throughout the country. We will have everything you need to play, so feel free to come out and give it a shot. If you are interested, please register online. There only 12 spots available. This program will take roughly 1 hour so be sure to bring water.

In addition to the great music, we’d like to thank the phenomenal marble making artists that showed off their talents during the event. Also, we had awesome crafts, games, and marble hunts going on as well throughout the day…not to mention great food too! We do hope everyone enjoyed their time with us! 😊

The 43rd Annual National Rolley Hole Championship Marbles & Music Festival is tomorrow (Saturday, September 19th).

Notes before you arrive:

*The Rolley Hole Tournament itself starts at 8 am and will likely last all day and into the night.
*Live music starts at 10 am and will end around 6 pm.
*See schedule/flyer for other marble tournaments and festivity times. (Schedule/flyer will be available at the event and has previously been posted on this page.)
*Parking is limited, but we will have a shuttle throughout the day which will run in between the rec. hall, park office, and shelter 5 (below the dam).
*Many vendors (food, tickets, marble, etc.) will be cash only.
*It will be hot! Rangers are here to assist in medical emergencies, but staying hydrated and in the shade will help prevent the need.
