🌟 NWKPDC Proud to Help Plan the 2026 MINK Conference!

The Northwest Kansas Planning & Development Commission is excited to be heading to Council Bluffs, Iowa, for the 2026 MINK Planning District Conference, August 31–September 2.

We’re especially proud that NWKPDC Executive Director Deb DePorter Minkler served on the MINK Planning Committee, helping bring together planning and development professionals from Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas for this regional conference.

MINK provides an opportunity to share ideas, learn from other organizations, build partnerships, and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the communities we serve.

For NWKPDC, participating in events like this is about more than attending a conference—it is about bringing new ideas, resources, relationships, and knowledge back home to Northwest Kansas.

We are proud to have Northwest Kansas represented at the table and look forward to a great conference!

👏 Thank you to all of the MINK Planning Committee members who worked together to make this event possible.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to attend the KEYS Conference through Network Kansas!

There is always something new to learn, but some of the most valuable moments come from connecting with colleagues from across the state. Those conversations—sharing ideas, talking through challenges, celebrating successes, and learning from one another—are a great reminder that we have a strong network of support behind the work we do.

Building relationships and learning from others helps us bring new ideas, resources, and opportunities back home as we continue supporting entrepreneurs, businesses, and communities throughout Northwest Kansas.

We’re excited to take what we’ve learned and put it to work in our region!

We’re excited to announce that the Phillipsburg project, which was awarded and started three years ago, has finally broken ground! Construction is underway on several houses, including our duplex in Grainfield. We’re thrilled to see this project coming to life!

In May, Network Kansas and our partners helped support 12 businesses across Kansas with more than $1,000,000 in funding! Special thanks to our partners, who play such an important role in connecting entrepreneurs to flexible funding opportunities and valuable resources.
