CAIR-Ohio offers our sincere condolences and solidarity to our Jordanian Christian neighbors, friends, and community members across Ohio following the tragic attack at the Greek Orthodox Church in the town of Hammoud, Karak, in Jordan.
This loss is felt directly here in our state, where Jordanian American families and community partners are grieving relatives and loved ones lost in this senseless act of violence.
Houses of worship must always remain sacred spaces of peace and safety. We join our neighbors in honoring the victims, praying for the recovery of the wounded, and condemning violence against all religious communities.
To our Jordanian community members in Ohio: we share with you in grief and stand firmly beside you during this painful time.
