Showed up one after a storm and there was something missing from the garage. I found the pieces on the ground. Had to strip, clean and put this back together. The 120 year old nails had simply deteriorated and as you can see by the rings in the that there is a natural separation point. Time and and elements took their toll, but it’s back where it rightfully belongs.

Happy National Lighthouse Day!
On August 7th, 1789 Congress passed 'An Act for the Establishment and support of Lighthouse, Beacons, Buoys, and Public Piers'. Two hundred years later, in 1989, The 101st Congress passed a resolution for the recognition of National Lighthouse Day.
