You may see increased emergency vehicle presence at Midway High School beginning this morning. This is part of Shattered Dreams, a planned educational program that includes a crash reenactment.

THIS IS ONLY A SIMULATION—THERE IS NO EMERGENCY.

The "Shattered Dreams" program involves the dramatization of an alcohol-related crash at the high school campus, complete with fire, police and EMS response, a life flight helicopter, emergency room treatment at one of the local hospitals, family notifications, and the arrest and booking of the driver.

Good Morning ! As some know that the Air Medical Services Including Air Evac 51 in Hillsboro, Tx carries life saving blood. There is a critical shortage of blood in Texas due to the recent bad weather. This is two fold, one is that the weather prevented donors from giving blood and two, surgeries and emergencies did not stop in fact increased during the weather. Please consider donating blood as soon as possible to assure that there is enough supply for our communities.
