The Washington County Board of Commissioners appoints Cortney Duke-Driessen to serve as the chief attorney of the Office of County Counsel.

“Cortney is an experienced leader and accomplished attorney with an enormous commitment to the Washington County organization and the people we serve. I’m grateful that she agreed to provide management and strategic direction for the Office of County Counsel as part of our One Washington County team,” said Board Chair Kathryn Harrington.

Washington County Office of Community Development has released the Consortium's Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation (CAPER) for Plan Year (PY) 2025 for public review and comment through September 10th. Written comments can be emailed to [email protected]. A public hearing will be held virtually on the draft plan on September 10th.

The 2025 CAPER details program accomplishments throughout the period of July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026, for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Program, and the HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program.

In conjunction with the public comment period for the CAPER, we are conducting a survey on community needs that will inform the FY2027 Action Plan.
