Applications are officially open for the 2026–2027 WEMSA Foundation Scholarship!!

Each year, the Wisconsin EMS Association Foundation provides six $1,000 scholarships to eligible Wisconsin residents who are intending to or currently attending an EMS program through an approved Wisconsin training center.

Applicants will need to submit:
Resume or CV
Technical college enrollment information
Letter of recommendation
Explanation of need
Personal statement

Application deadline: July 1, 2026

Please note: Scholarships are intended for students working toward initial licensure or advancing to a higher certification level. Funding is not intended for refresher courses or license renewals.

Yesterday to celebrate EMS for Children Day, a few of the Hillsboro EMS crew got to visit the Hillsboro Kindergarten and 4K, to show them a little bit of what we do, with teddy bears and plastic stethoscopes.

Today begins national EMS Week 2026! Even though we were busy preparing for our annual open house last week, we took the time last Wednesday evening to complete our biennial CPR recertification. During this time, Royal Bank dropped off pizza for us! Also, earlier in the day, Emplify by Gundersen - Hillsboro Area brought our meat bundle!
