Here is one of the original library board games: Othello. This game is only available for use in the library, but it is a good way to take a break! With an easy setup and endless ways to play, grab this game with a friend and enjoy a visit to the Library!

The Library celebrated the 80th birthday of our best volunteer! Mike has recorded over 300 volunteer hours since 2024 when he started helping with the Jefferson County History Center. He not only gets to assist with our ongoing digitization project, but he also provides a wealth of knowledge about Jefferson County history and his world travels. On top of that, Mike has a tremendous sense of humor and contagious laugh! Mike loved his gifts from the Marketing Department.

Library staff were saddened with the recent passing of Dolly Parton and wanted to create a little tribute to her. She was huge proponent of libraries and the availability of books for children as demonstrated with the founding of the Imagination Library. She was a one of a kind person and will truly be missed.
