6512 made its first raise on a working fire while being fully utilized, and it’s already clear this truck is going to be a tremendous asset for the citizens of Hillsboro for many years to come. Proud to see this piece of equipment already proving its value on the fireground.

**UPDATE 7:30 P.M.**
Tinhouse Rd. is reopened. Over the next few hours additional utility work will take place to restore power to the 50 or so houses without power. It is unknown when power will be fully restored.

**Incident Alert**

Tinhouse is closed due to power lines across the roadway, just prior to Whitehead Rd. from the B Highway side.

Mutual aid training today with the DeSoto Rural Fire Protection District, DeSoto city Fire Department, and Valle Ambulance. This is what builds our teamwork, strengthens response, and makes large incidents run smoothly. This is the heart of the fire service.
