Hillsboro Fire Protection District The Hillsboro Fire Protection District is an organization dedicated to providing the best emergency services to our citizens. We operate from 2 Engine Houses.

The Hillsboro Fire Protection District covers an area of 44 square miles in central Jefferson County, MO. The Fire District provides it's citizens with fire suppression, EMS First Response, extrication, specialized rescue situations, Haz Mat Response, and any other type of emergency response. We currently have a paid staff of 15 and dedicated volunteers. Hillsboro Fire has 2 fire stations staffed

with 2 firefighters 24/7/365. Station 1 is centrally located in the City of Hillsboro. Station 2 is located on Highway B. The district is lead by Fire Chief Brian Gaudet. 6512 made its first raise on a working fire while being fully utilized, and it’s already clear this truck is going to be a tremendous asset for the citizens of Hillsboro for many years to come. Proud to see this piece of equipment already proving its value on the fireground.

**UPDATE 7:30 P.M.**
Tinhouse Rd. is reopened. Over the next few hours additional utility work will take place to restore power to the 50 or so houses without power. It is unknown when power will be fully restored.

Tinhouse is closed due to power lines across the roadway, just prior to Whitehead Rd. from the B Highway side.
