I hope you can make it to our in-person meeting this week Thursday at 6pm. at 200 Davis Rd. at Hillsborough United Church of Christ. The meeting topic is gratitude. We are grateful for our wonderful location to meet and for visitors. Visitors are welcome to come and see what we are about. HTM has begun in-person meeting the 1st and 3rd Thursdays each month. Meeting at the Hillsborough United Church of Christ at 200 Davis Rd, Hillsborough. Same meeting time 6pm - 7pm. We will continue with ZOOM meetings on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays each month. This enable our "distant" members to enjoy the benefits of our "Small But Mighty Club". This Thursday at 6pm will be at the Hillsborough United Church of Christ at 200 Davis Drive just south of where we used to meet at UNC Hospital Hillsborough Campus and just off I-40. Hillsborough Toastmasters

Toastmasters International is a non-profit organization which provides opportunities for members to develop and improve their public speaking and leadership skills. Our meetings follow a well paced agenda. We use two books that target step-by-step attainable goals for prepared speeches and leadership skills. Members become skillful at evaluation and enjoy each others life experiences.

The Toastmasters format provides opportunities to meet with other clubs and their members at semiannual local and regional training programs and speech contests.

Our members learn by completing (at their own pace) a series of short speeches in their communications track and work with other club members in a supportive environment as they work their leadership track. In addition to presenting speeches, members learn about listening, evaluating, and giving positive nurtuting constructive feedback.

Guests are always welcome at Hillsborough Toastmasters meetings. No advance notice or reservation is required. Visit us to learn more about this transformational program. Meet our members, experience a meeting, and have all your questions answered by people, like you, who have joined and grown in this nurturing environment.
