Mark your calendars! The Red Cross will be holding a blood drive on Wednesday, June 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Main Library in Hillsborough. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged. To schedule an appointment, call 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit redcrossblood.org. You will be asked to provide the date and location of the blood drive when making your appointment.

Today outside the Main Library in Hillsborough, you may notice a Hot Car Awareness display.

This display demonstrates how quickly the inside of a parked car can heat up on a sunny day, with a digital screen showing the outside temperature compared to the car’s interior temperature in real time.

Thank you to Safe Kids Orange County for partnering with us to help spread awareness about the dangers of leaving children or pets unattended in vehicles.

Kafi is showing off just a few of the fun crafts you can create with us tomorrow at the Garden Party 🪴✨

Join us on Saturday, May 9th from 11am–1pm for our Plant & Seed Swap featuring free crafts for all ages, mock mimosas, plant and seed swapping, and our brand new Green Literacy Kits available to check out for free. 🐦🪱🐝

Then, from 1:30–3:30pm, join us for Tea & Teacup Candles, a special A250 event where we’ll cook and craft history together while creating traditional bayberry wax teacup candles ☕🌸
