🎒 Routine over perfection is the perfect routine! As school-year schedules get busier, meals may look a little different, too. A few small strategies can make it easier to keep nutritious foods in the mix.

🍳 Keep breakfast easy. Try options that can be prepared ahead, like overnight oats, hard-boiled eggs, or fruit and yogurt.

🥕 Keep convenient foods on hand. Frozen vegetables, canned beans, whole-grain pasta, and other pantry staples can help pull together a meal without starting from scratch.

🍲 Make dinner do double duty. Extra portions can become tomorrow’s lunch or the starting point for another meal.

🍎 Keep snacks within reach. Fruits, vegetables, nuts, yogurt, or whole-grain crackers can make quick snacks easier to grab.

Our meals don’t have to be perfect to be nourishing. Small strategies can help make busy days a little more manageable.
