Damning.

ICYMI: Commissioner Brent Leininger tells LifeWays he’s ready to give them the goods. In this internal LifeWays memo on 2/10 he assures them the bond will be voted through at the BOCC level, even though this is not on the agenda. He “communicates separately that he has the votes for the full $15.5 million.”. It’s nice to know that 3 Commissioners believe in transparency and loyalty. Too bad it’s to LifeWays and not to the people they were elected to represent.

In 30 years the Lifeways monopoly will take in $ 3.4 BILLION ( at present revenue level ). Our poor county will take in around $ 480 million. And Lifeways is such a bad gamble that the banks will not loan them the money they desire for their expansion. Why should we ?...
