- Tornado Warning for... Central Lycoming County in north central Pennsylvania... Sullivan County in north central Pennsylvania...
- Until 945 PM EDT.
- At 858 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Loyalsockville, moving northeast at 50 mph.

IMPACT
Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

THIS DANGEROUS STORM WILL BE NEAR
- Barbours and Loyalsockville around 900 PM EDT. Kettle Creek Gorge around 910 PM EDT. Lincoln Falls around 920 PM EDT.

- Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Laporte, Eagles Mere, Hillsgrove, Dushore, and South Williamsport.

- This includes Interstate 180 from mile markers 20 to 28.

Last evening members practiced drafting with the TurboDraft eductor. This piece of equipment is able to be deployed very quickly and provides a high volume of water. We were able to maintain a constant flow of water while filling 2 trucks simultaneously that were filling swimming pools for local residents.

This afternoon at 15:54 Station 54 is dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Route 87 with no injuries. Engine 54 and Ambulance 54 respond, upon arrival crews find a vehicle off the roadway with a pole sheared off and communication wires down. With no injuries Ambulance 54 returns while Engine 54 stays on scene for traffic control and to assist PSP.

**DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS SATURDAY, PLEASE SHARE**

An Arctic Front will rush in early Saturday morning bringing wind gusts up to 50 MPH all day Saturday. The coldest wind chills of this winter between -15° and -30°F will occur Saturday in most of PA, even during the daytime.

If you must be outside, dress in multiple insulating layers under a winter coat and cover as much exposed skin as possible! Limit time outdoors, take frequent warm-up breaks, and watch for signs of frostbite (numbness, pale or hard skin). And don’t forget to bring pets inside!

This type of cold only comes around about once a decade, so take extra precautions above what you normally take!

Wind chills will be down well below zero on Tuesday (1/20/2026). The coldest conditions will be on the ridges where wind speeds will probably be highest. Gusts could get to 30 mph. Be sure to cover up, especially if you will be outdoors for more than a couple of minutes. The actual air temperatures Tuesday morning will be sub-zero in the northern mountains to around 10 above in the urban areas of the Lower Susquehanna Valley.
