The Carroll County Governmental Center offices will be closing tomorrow at 12:00 Noon in respect to the funeral services of Deputy Sheriff Logan Utt held tomorrow afternoon. Our office will be following the county’s closure and will also be closing as well. Thank you.

Last week, it was an honor serving as a judge at Carroll County High School’s 2026 Regional Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Performance Event.

This event recognizes and rewards excellence across a wide range of business and career-related fields. Through competitive events, students gain valuable experience in career exploration, academic growth, and leadership development.

I had the opportunity to judge student presentations on how AI can help businesses, as well as the potenial concerns related to privacy, accuracy, and over-reliance.
