Mahalo to all the candidates for running this year. With 2 days left it’s been a long campaign season but well worth it. I’m glad to have met so many of you.

The issue of the renewal of the lease for Pohakuloa Training Area which ends in 2029 is a state and federal issue; however we were asked our stance on this issue.

Under a Tupa’i administration we will always advocate for the will of the people in every area of governance; that diplomacy and transparency will take precedence over corporations and elements that are not conducive to our island life and the future of our community.

With firmness, fairness, dignity and compassion we will always put our community first.
