Changing the Internal Dialogue โ A Christian Perspective ๐บ๐ธ
This Veterans Day, Iโm focusing on renewing the mind (Romans 12:2) and building healthy networks that support mental, emotional, and spiritual growth.
If youโre overcoming PTSD, depression, or simply seeking peace in your journey โ remember, youโre not alone. Here are 5 ways to strategize and strengthen your spirit as you learn, grow, and connect with others:
1. ๐งโโ๏ธ Yoga โ Reconnect body and mind through movement and breath.
2. ๐ Meditation & Prayer โ Center your thoughts on Godโs truth and promises.
3. โ๏ธ Call 988 โ Reach out for help. Thereโs always someone ready to listen.
4. ๐ถโโ๏ธ Go for a Walk โ Nature restores peace; take time to breathe and reflect.
5. ๐ง Listen to a Podcast โ Feed your mind with wisdom and faith-based encouragement.
As we honor those who served, Iโll be handing out codes at the Veterans Day parade and event โ to collaborate, build small businesses, and uplift one another. Come say hello and wear red, white, or blue!
If youโre in Wahiawa, donโt miss: ๐ฟ Wahiawa Botanical Garden โ a place for quiet reflection
โ Surferโs Cafรฉ โ great coffee and conversation
โช Midweek Church at New Life โ fellowship and Bible study
Letโs build stronger minds, deeper faith, and lasting connections.
In honor of Indigenous Peoples Month I'll be offering yoga at the park.
