Press Release
Consumers are the Labor Movement of the 21st Century
Welcome to the American Shopping Party
https://www.americanshoppingparty.com/article

Consumers are the Labor Movement of 21st Century people. The social political causes of the labor movement of the last century can now be achieved through our buying power as an American Shopper. Today, we formalize this buying power as the official Consumer Movement of America.

Welcome to the American Shopping Party.

1 day a month, 50 million Americans buy Local American Made. Show up with 50 million shoppers and every store across the country will carry something local or American Made on this day. The first Friday of each month will be now dedicated to celebrate the best of all things local and American.

*….*….*

60 Million Shoppers

Feel your power as an American Shopper. Unions for example bemoan their 14 million US membership – and falling. That’s just 10% the labor force.

My dear unions, know that rather easy to change this - tap the power of your members as an American Shopper.

Mr Vice President Biden, please call upon each union member to find just 3 friends and family to join our American Shoppers. This gives you a movement 60 million members strong. That is 40% the labor force – now unleashed upon our markets within days - if not hours.

60 million also happens to be the number of followers Trump has on Twitter or how many women that go shopping every Saturday - double that on holidays. Women represent 70% of all US domestic buying. What power they hold in the palm of their hand as a single demographic. This is the same power you carry as an American Shopper with each dollar you spend. These are just a few social groupings that can change history in our power as the American Shopper.

My dear President Trump, will you join us in this Buy American Made Day?

My dear women of American, will you take the lead in our Buy Local Small Biz Day?

My Dear VP Biden, will you rally the unions to join us?

Decades of critics told of the liabilities of the modern consumer. Today, I tell of your many benefits. To know this is the power to change the world as an American Shopper.

My Dear Mayor Kim, will you declare Hawaii’s Buy Local Day?

*….*….*….*

Know Your Power – Change the World

Decades of critics told of the liabilities of the modern consumer. Today, I tell of your many benefits. To know this is the power to change the world as an American Shopper.

• The might of China’s trillion-dollar manufacturing was built upon the dollar of the American Shopper.

• The genius of India’s billion-dollar tech industry was also built upon the dollar of the American Shopper.

• So too the modern gilded cities of Dubai, Bahrain, Qatar and Saudi Arabia of the Middle East. Each of their nations also built upon your dollar as the American Shopper.

• Billions from diverse nations lifted from the worst of poverty in step of history’s greatest transfer of modern technology, infrastructure and governance for a leap of mankind worth millennia of evolution in but a couple decades.

These are only a few wonders born of the American Shopper. History tells of similar legacies as the work of armies, heroes, angels and gods, but always it is only for a single king, one nation or some small region. Not so for the American Shopper. Your magic touched most every nook and cranny of the entire world.

Capitalist claim credit for these feats, but it is you, the American Shopper, that sits at the heart of this machine – at least for now. When you stop buying, the world stops along with you.

Today, we call upon you for this same power to save American’s small business in their darkest hour of greatest need. Will join us this day to Buy Local American? Save our small business as the community treasures we hold of our towns and jump start America once again – if not the whole of the world.

Economic Democracy Next Gen Social Policy

Voting with your dollar is called Economic Democracy. Every dollar is a vote and this vote always – ALWAYS - counts. Well, it counts at least 70% of the time. 70% of our entire US economy is based upon your consumption. And so this also means that you, the American Shopper, decide who gets our trillions - 70% of the time. Has any common man ever held greater power with so little but spending their own dollar?

This economic tale is only the beginning of our power. Technology and innovation have only enhanced our reach into Next Generation Social Policy.

• You want our young American soldier out of Middle East wars?
Buy a Tesla. Buy 5 million of them - a year - and see the relevancy of foreign oil collapse in step with falling petro-car sales.

• You want to fight global warming?
Switch to plant based Impossible Burger in place of livestock farming (which produces 20% to 50% of all man-made greenhouse gas emissions. Fast food chains now sell these Environmental Burgers on most every corner).

• You don’t like coal or nuclear power?
Put in solar panels on your roof.

a) You want to stop animal cruelty:
Buy Ahimsa Dairy wherein the cow is never killed and left to free range pasture.

b) You want to tell Brazil to stop burning down the Amazon rainforest?
Buy from our American Farmers.

c) AND…if you truly want American Jobs, strong communities, booming small biz and high quality food of neighborhood farmers (in their offer to real food security):

Then please, PLEASE – PLEASE , my dear friends, please join our Buy Local American Day on the first Friday of each month. This will be one day a month wherein all of us can now come together to celebrate the best of who we are as one people.

Welcome to Economic Democracy.

Buy Local for Nov – Dec

6 months ago, America was 30 million small businesses. They generated $3 trillion in revenues and 50% of all US jobs. More telling is the 50 cents of every dollar we get back to our own community when you buy local small biz. Chain stores only return 13 cents on the dollar. That’s a 4 to 1 return by small biz over Big Box stores. It’s why buying local just 1 day a month makes such a big difference.

America’s small biz are the jewels of our community talent, the vibrance to our quality of life and the building blocks of family neighborhoods. Never in before have small biz, farmer and entrepreneur needed us more as they do today. We are calling upon all who care to come speak as one voice. We are here for you small biz - each and every month.

*….*….*….*

Goal: 50 Million Shoppers

Our Goal:
15% of people in any given place joining to Buy Local American. That would be 300,000 residence of Hawaii showing up to buy local. That’s 6 million buyers when California joins us.

Our goal: 50 million Americans taken from across the nation. Each pledged to small biz, farmer and entrepreneurs. One day a month makes it easy for the stores to promote and totals two weeks a year. A Black Friday every month for small biz - 12 times a year.

Let’s jump-start this Buy Local American Day for this coming October. It’s a practice run for the Christmas season. 40% to 60% of all retail is done during this holiday. How many small biz can we save this year? Our Christmas gift to community, country and the future of our children as entrepreneur. Stand for the spirit of our values built in our Local American Made.

*….*….*….*

Call-out to Corporate America – Join Us

To scale this big will take some large players to join us. We call upon them today and those who can help connect us with them.

Ebay, will you be the platform for our small biz?

Groupon, will you be the marketing arm?

Apple, your Apple Card the financial platform.

We stand with Goldman Sachs’ drive for small biz.
(Wall Street only offers their special access to large investors. Goldman works to offers these same privileges to small biz - for the first time.)

The Apple universe of a billion users is an obvious hub of enterprise and the techies of our day.

My dear Peoples of this Apple-world, will you join us?
The world needs you. America awaits you. You’re a nation unrecognized no more when you stand with us here today.

This platform will be the Amazon of Patriotism. No longer based solely on price, but with an eye towards the greater values of local jobs, clean air, water and land, quality food grown to our health, taxes paid and finally given over to our community, schools, infrastructure and manufacturers accountable to us as our own neighbor. Is this worth 10% more for a loaf of bread? How about 50% more. At least for this one day a month.

*….*…*…*

Take the Pledge – Today

Will you take the pledge with us - TODAY?

Which mayor will offer a Declaration to Buy Local American, 1 Day a month?
I Call upon you Mayor Kim, our mayor here in Hawaii.

Which governor will declare our state a Buy Local American Day?
I call upon you Gov’t Ige – Hawaii Gov.

Which Presidential Candidate or those running for office will take the pledge?
I call upon you Rocky, Kyle and Pierce. How bout you Kehele, my opponent for the Congress seat, District 2 HI.

VP Biden, will you ask unions to take The Community Pledge?
President Trump, would call upon your 60 million Twitter followers to join this celebration of America?

America, are you ready to party? 1 day a month to honor each other as one people?

Then take The Gandhi Pledge.

*….*….*….*

The Gandhi Pledge

The pledge is a simple one. We call it the Gandhi Pledge. Gandhi asked theses 5 simple things of his non-violent movement:
Buy Local Made.

Ask your Friends and Relatives to Buy Local.
Ask Stores to carry Local.
Wear Local.
Make something with your hands.
(Let artisans and craftsmen find their magic in our hands once more. In the days of Gandhi, it was to weave their own cloth. Today, it’s to bring your imaginations to life.)
The final step: $20.
Chip in just $20 and we will be fully funded by you. Finally, a truly independent political party – free of corporate dependence.
These are the simple Pledges of the American Shopping Party.
Today we launch. Will you be a founding member?

*….*….*….*

Founding Fathers

A Founding Member is for all those who join during this 1 week fundraiser for just $20.
A Founding Sponsor is = $51.
A Founding Patron = $108
A Founding Father = $500.
A Founding Partner = $1,000
A Founding Godfather = $10,000
A Founding VP = $50,000
A Founding President = $100,000
(This is a political party so we are not limited as political candidates for the size of donations.)
Within the week, we will know our scale and reach for our community small biz.

*….*….*….*

America’s Last Hope - You

In closing: Take note of your power as the American Shopper and all those who work to undermine it.
Corporations spend billions lobbying corruption from politicians against the public good and often, in direct violation of your rights, voice and will. Corporations want us to believe that WE are helpless to their power, but they know that all their money (and the vast power it buys them), is decided and given by you, the American Shopper.
Low Prices is the black magic multi-nationals use for factories built at the expense of our own jobs or the loss of quality in food, production and environment or regimes funded in oppression of their own nation.
Few other things compare to the great economic coup of 2020 where monopolies shuttered all competition. Amazon took 25 years to reach a $1 trillion dollar valuation. Amazon just doubled that to $2 trillion in just 25 months. So true of other Wall Street monopolies.
HOW?
Shut down all of America’s 30 million small biz.
You have always decided the winners and losers of industries both good and bad, the wealth of entire regions of the world and those to wield the reins of power in America.
Today is something quite different. Today, you are the last hope for America’s small biz. This may also be your last chance to fight for years to come. We maybe seeing the last of our power an American Shopper of choice, economic power and the future as a nation of entrepreneurs.
And so I implore, will you stand with us today?
‘I am the American Shopper, here to change the world for the better and save America as a local community in this darkest hour.
Welcome American Shopper to the American Shopping Party.

* Who are you? Tell us about yourself in 200 words or less.

Authored 14 book series on Economics called Raghu-nomics with original proposals for a new set of working models to reset American discourse on US policy. Conflict politics has overtaken policy and governance. We provide examples of what effective policy upgrades look like once we sidestep the outdated liberal vs conservative policy models.

This 'Simple Solutions' series covers most every major issue of the day that uncovers dramatic prospects such as lifestyle Insurance that looks may likely reduce healthcare insurance 50% while potentially doubling benefits. Leverage Debt Reduction should reduce mortgage 50% across the country - within 4 to 8 months - along with 40% to 80% of all household debt, 20% to 40% of all corporate debt, and 30% to 60% of all US Deficits.

While the actual numbers of impact of our proposals may vary from these initial projections, the larger point remains: these new approaches showcase the host of additional possibilities missing from today's political discourse. Our punchline is that there is a far greater failing then today's economic, social or even political problems. These are but the symptom. The core dysfunction is actually an ideological one. Most recognize that communism is an outdated model. Our point is that this is true of the entire conservative vs liberal paradigm. Our policy proposals are to demonstrate how much more effective we can be once we move to sidestep the outdated postures of today's conflict politics.

* First Key Message

Lifestyle Insurance Markets can reduce healthcare insurance 50% while likely doubling healthcare services. How: 50% of all medical costs is lifestyle related. If we each covered our on lifestyle costs, we would reduce healthcare costs by this same 50%. In the case of obesity, the medical costs is $2 trillion a decade. That sounds like a lot, but only comes to 10 cents if paid at the point of sale - once evenly divided between all junk food. You buy a slice of pizza, you pay 10 cents more. Same again when you buy soda or ice-cream. This pay-as-you-go is not a new tax, but your insurance premium. This 10 cents buys you universal care for all obesity-related healthcare - for free.

*Second Key Message

Leverage Debt Reduction should be able to reduce all home mortgages by 50% within the next 3 to 6 months. It will also reduce US household debt between 40% to 60% along with 20% to 40% of US Deficits.

*Third Key Message

Our American Shopping Party looks to double small biz nationally by 50% to 100% with a commitment of 50 million dedicated shoppers buying local American Made, 1 day a month on the 1st Friday of each month. Show up with 50 million shoppers and every store will carry something locally American Made on that day.

*What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Raghu-nomics has the 'Simple Solution to the US Economic Crisis' with its 10 Step program. Lifestyle Market Insurance is Step 2. Leverage Debt Reduction is Step 1 and the American Shopping Party is Step 3. We have proposals for immigration, Social Security etc that will do much the same in offering sound, affordable, upgrades in service, reach, and budget. Our first priority is to use these proposals to reset the terms of American political discourse.

*Political philosophy

*What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

The first deciding factor is set by the agenda's the rep is taking to the office. That will set the terms of engagement. If it is to expand liberal or conservative agendas that will direct their focus of purpose, constituents prioritized and sympathies followed.

The 2nd principle is the access, engagement, and transparency they provide their constituencies or rather, which constituents they do this for - the wealthy, the poor, etc.

The 3rd now gets into the areas of character, competency, religious leaning, etc.

My agenda is Raghu-nomics.

*What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

The US Reps are specifically designated to represent their immediate constituents of their district, but generally, it has been converted into one more cog of the political party they are elected under. The 'special interest' for which we point to as the corruption of our system is often the true constituent of the party.

The constituents I will work to empower are the farmers, small biz and Hawaiians for they are the social-economic foundation of our community and the center-piece of my policy programs.

*Is there a book, essay, film, or something else you would recommend to someone who wants to understand your political philosophy?

Gandhi - the movie.
My latest booklet: Blockchain: Simple Solution to US Debt Crisis.
My Booklet: Lifestyle Insurance; Simple Solution to US Healthcare Crisis.
My Video and Pamphlet: The 4 Pillars of Prabhupada's Social Economic Program.

*Qualities and character

Please answer one of the following questions related to qualities and character.

*What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

The Raghu-nomics program is the unique gift I bring to the table. The 14 books of the Raghu-nomics series on social-economic policy has developed into something of a surprisingly simple template for issue resolution. In a nutshell, we look to the entire 'eco-system' of any given issues and look for 3 things: 1) Bottlenecks for there is where you find the greatest areas for easy improvement; 2) Strengths - and how to scale those further: 3) The new set of functions and prospects to be tapped once the entire system has been accounted for. Think of the parable of the 3 blind men each feeling only one part of the body: trunk, legs and the torso. Today's two-party politics are the blind men. We want to demonstrate the sport and reward of discovering to both the full body detail of the elephant, but more imporantly, all the different things elephants can do once identified in their entirety. Similarly, the policy proposals are offered as more the demos of this new approach rather than as the final agenda onto itself. Raghu-nomics is proposing a new school of economic thinking as the next generation social policy and the natural up-grade once we have moved on from the outdated liberal vs conservative paradigm that most all other public policy (and failings) are founded upon.

Our Lifestyle Insurance Markets program offers to reduce healthcare insurance 50% while doubling service. This is to showcase how much more can be achieved once we sidestep the Democrat gov't based program vs Republican free-markets programs. Both parties know of lifestyle costs but could never look into it because of the ideological straightjacket that restrains them from ever moving beyond their own set of party programs, no matter the failings of their own programs or how simple and obvious the solutions found in others. Who else is offering an ideological up-grade and an entirely new social economic paradigm? Our first step is providing a genuinely neutral forum to begin this new conversation for American. The proposals are but the fruits.

*What legacy would you like to leave?

Ideally, Raghu-nomics will serve a similar role like that we saw of the introduction of capitalism or even democracy. They were the new and cutting edge ideological breakthroughs of their day and did wonders to that upgrades the terms, context, and efficiencies of social, political and economic engagement. This is not to say that Raghu-noimcs is the final step of this up-grade, but rather, its the toolset to help us find that next phase of soical evoution as compared to today's failing conflict politics.

*What is something that has been a struggle in your life?

Recognition.

*Culture and fun

Please answer one of the following questions on literature and music you like.

What was the last song that got stuck in your head?

Chakrini - He Gopinath, Songs of the Soul,

Shyam ~ Gaurangi devi dasi

What is your favorite book? Why?

Bhagavad Gita As It Is.

It is the bible of India and is the foundational paradigm from which all my works with the 14 books on Raghu-nomics is based upon.

I was a preacher from the ages of 11through 25 and worked to convince others to the Bhagavad-Gita's foundational principles to solving puzzle life and those of society. Then I realized I could be the one to tap these magic formulas. It makes me look like some kind of genius when all I'm doing is pulling from this manual of the Bhagavad-Gita. As a critic once said of my work: 'Raghu has plagiarized Prabhupada's work.' I keep this fountain of wisdom as my own secret behind Raghu-nomics.

*If you could be any fictional character, who would you want to be?

Ironman, not as a secret fantasy, but as a natural extension of the tech that is already upon us and just waiting there to be tapped.

*Personal history and influences

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

I'm a 3rd generation, Italian American, born in Los Angeles Hollywood, but schooled in a boarding school in India and graduated into a youth of a traveling preacher in my late teens and early 20's before settling in as the director of the congregational program of our Los Angeles community of 25,000 Indian attendees, etc until I was 25. Launched an import/export biz at 27 and ended with real estate in my 30's and 40's with $20 million in sales.

Each of these phases of my life had their own set of mentors and heroes and find myself more a composite of them all.

What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?

It is not yet recognized, but the early years of the Hare Krsna movement represent a significant cultural fusion of ways and ideals that has found its way throughout the world whether that be in the precepts of karma, yoga, vegetarians, India foods, etc. Being party to that process of transformation is a foundational building block to my sense of possibilities for things transitioning from the old over to the new. Being in india as a youth for Indira Gandhi, the prime ministers, assassination and the following Hindu Muslim riots is one of many such experiences allowed from around the world that allows me a sense to a first-hand feel of life from around the world.

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

My Raghu-nomics is my expression of my Guru-Maharaj's ideals and purpose and in my service to him. I see my work as Srila Prabhupada's legacy unfolding.

Questionnaire: Star Advertiser

* Please describe your qualifications to represent the people of Hawaii.

Our country needs a new discourse over today’s conflict politics. Our Raghu-nomics economic series offers working models for every major issue of the day. We lead with our Lifestyle Insurance that will reduce healthcare insurance 50% while doubling service or our Leverage Debt Reduction that slices every American home mortgage 50% or the SSRI program that would fully fund Social Security's $20 trillion obligation without raising taxes or cutting benefits. These programs will reset the terms of our political discourse around a new generation of thinking.

* What will be your top priority if elected?

Nestles is an $80 billion a year food business. Hawaii needs only do 20% this to match our tourism's $15 billion a year in revenue. The question is: 'What would take Hawaii need do to match Nestle's sales. They sell Swiss Chocolate from a country that grows no chocolate? It's all just marketing. Hawaii already has the market stature and actually grows chocolate, but simply lacks the infrastructure. Time to build that infrastructure of production and distribution. This is the centerpiece of our Hawaii Renaissance campaign geared to converting tourist into long term consumers of Hawaiian Made products upon their return home as one of 10 steps to building our export market. The 2nd set of priorities is our Simple Solution to US Economic Crisis in 10 Steps starting with our Lifestyle Insurance and Leverage Debt Reduction.

* As Hawaii and the nation face the COVID-19 pandemic, what more can Congress do to protect residents’ health?

There are several questions that need to be answered first.
The bottom is if it would be better for the state/country to catch this during the summer months rather then winter? Here's the progression of questions:

1) There is a 2nd wave. How many are expected to be impacted this fall and winter 10 million? 100 million?
2) When is this to it - Aug 2020 or Sept, Oct. etc
3) Is there really going to be a nationwide vaccine that has 100% market pe*******on before this 2nd wave fully hits. If not, how deep its market reach by this winter: 10%, 50%, 80%.
4) How much market pe*******on needs to be reached by the vaccine before it becomes a true 'cure?' Would a 70% reach still prove ineffective in beating this virus?
5) If we can not beat the virus by this winter and if we are going to get sick anyway, is it better to catch this in summer?

* What more can Congress do to help residents who have been economically affected by the COVID-19 pandemic?

Our Hawaiian Renaissance of matching Nestles in food production & $80 billion in biz volume and development of Hawaii with a 21st Century vision (the NYC of the West), base the Lifestyle Insurance industry and the Leverage Debt Reduction programs out of Hawaii.

* How should the federal government deal with its increasing budget deficit as it spends hundreds of billions on coronavirus-related aid and expenses?

Our Leverage Debt Reduction program should help reduce household debt - starting at about 40%, reduce commercial debt between 20% to as much as 60% and reduce federal deficits between 20% to as much as 50% - all within the year. Really looking for someone of stature to contest my numbers. It's the whole reason I am running - to highlight these Simple Solutions.

* If elected, what can you do to help ease the deep divisions and inequities in American society that have come to the forefront in the aftermath of the death of George Floyd?

There are 3 Parts to all inequities whether that be for minorities, the poor or increasingly, even the middle class. The first is the added hurdles of liabilities faced. That is multiplied for minorities. The 2nd are the opportunities (that should) also (be) available to them and the 3rd is to identify those institutions, programs, activities and groups behind them (both in the liabilities to be reduced and the opportunities to be scaled up). It's an eco-system of failure and success. That is my focus.

Looking at this broader picture is where we will find the action steps to the most effective solutions. For example, police brutality is often the tail-end of a long series of shortfalls that ends with minorities harmed or killed. These deaths are too often an extension of such failings as a lack of drug rehab, housing, proper jobs, education and other community supports - in addition to racism. George Floyd is a case in point wherein he was working to escape his past of crime and addictions at the time of his death.

I'm interested to know what junctures in George's efforts to beat these personal demons would have allowed him the best multiplier to move from the dark side of his past and into the best of his prospects and potentials. To intervene at those junctures of his personal work to improve himself would be the multiplier to recovery and success. Where's that magic moment of his life that would offer the greatest change and success. What programs would have been the most effective in helping with his transformation - housing, education, drug rehab, job, relationship, etc? The stepping stones of his journey is where we will find the formula to success.

I would be interested to quantify each of these segments of his life and find which could have offered the greatest impact - both in reducing the negatives as well as boosting positives. This is the secret behind all my policy proposals - study the eco-system of a thing and find the greatest bottlenecks and points of greatest improvements. I'm quite interested to do the same here.

The latest backlash highlights the shortfalls with police, but they are one of a (several) dozen issues. Identifying each of those areas and small adjustments to each can cumulatively provide a much larger impact than having any one of them reformed a 100%. I gather that these issues combined gives us the formula for success. I begin here with our American Shopping Party that begins by highlighting those successes.

What specific policies should Congress enact that would help mitigate the affects of sea-level rise and climate change?

We offer a new transportation platform called Skyway's which should help reduce the carbon footprint of transportation starting at about 20% and maybe reaching as high as 80%. This covers the markets now served by cars, planes, trains and subways. Skyways will also be 70% to 90% cheaper in infrastructure costs as well as to buy and run this new vehicle. We have similar options for food and again for manufacturing. These should help reduces carbon pollution within the kinds of ambitious terms set by the Green New Deal via technology upgrade and market play alone rather than thru gov't regulations. We would follow this up with a new network carrying the melting waters of the Artic and pipeline this access to deserts of the world to keep it from melting into the sea. Let these melting icecaps flood deserts rather than our shorelines.

* Is there anything more that you would like voters to know about you?

Raghu-nomics shows how much more constructive these so-called problems become be to solve once we remove the conflict politics from the conversation. Today's so-called policy debates runs 90% politics. Raghu-nomics gives us working models for a new starting point that bring a new perspectives and active samples to the kinds of upgrades possible with political posturing removed. We offer these proposals as a demonstration to all the wonder and opportunity - money - to be found and more easily accessed by simply sidestepping today's outdated model of liberal vs conservative policy modeling.
