Yesterday, we kicked off our semiannual Friends of the Hilo Public Library Book Sale. If you missed it you still have two days left to stop by. Our hours for today, October 25th are from 10:00am to 4:30pm. And Saturday, October 26th from 9:00 am to 4:30pm.

Just a reminder:
We will be closed from June 28-July 1, 2013 for Termite Tenting. The library will reopen on July 2, 2013 at 11:00 am. Please be advised that the book drops will not be available during this time.

For those that love comic books, we will be giving them away today. Stop by the Young Adult section for your free copy (one per patron) while supplies last! The library will be open from 9:00am-5:00pm.

For those who are members of the Friends of the Hilo Public Library or for those who are interested in becoming a member, tomorrow night we will be kicking off our semi-annual book sale with a preview night. It will be held from 5:00-6:30pm in the library lanai. You can join us by filling out a membership form and paying a $10 fee at the door.
