🚴 New Rest Areas on Plantation Drive — Three new leisure trail rest stops are being installed along Plantation Drive, each with benches, a trash receptacle, and a paved pull-off area.

🔧 Maintenance Updates — Stormwater work is ongoing on Greenwood Drive and near 1 Wood Duck Road. Leisure trail tree trimming continues on Greenwood Drive near Old Military Road.
💧 Water Outage Notice — South Island PSD has scheduled hydrant replacement outages (9 AM–2 PM):

Wed., June 17: Canvasback Rd, Ruddy Turnstone Rd, Sandhill Crane Rd & Green Heron Rd
Thu., June 18: Newhall Rd

🏖️ Beach Renourishment Update — Sand pumping on South Beach is complete! Demobilization is underway, with all beach access locations reopening by Saturday, June 13.
🥫 Deep Well Project Donation Event — Tomorrow, Friday, June 12, from 9–11 AM at the Sea Pines Community Center Parking Lot (71 Lighthouse Road).

🗳️ Board of Directors Election — Candidate applications are now available for three Class "A" Residential seats and one Class "B" Commercial seat opening January 1, 2027. The deadline to apply is August 1, 2026. Visit seapinesliving.com/election for details.

SPCSA Community Update | May 21

🏢Memorial Day Office Hours: Sea Pines CSA Admin Office, Community Connections Center, ARB, and Community Center will close at 2 PM on Friday, May 22, and remain closed Monday, May 25.
🚗 Commercial Vehicle Restriction: Vehicles with commercial decals or passes are not permitted in Sea Pines on Memorial Day. Contact your trash and recycling provider about their modified holiday schedule.

Join us on Friday, May 8 at 11:00 AM, for the opening celebration of the new leisure trail, Miner’s Mile, in the Sea Pines Forest Preserve. We will meet at Fish Island, then walk over together for a vine cutting before hitting the new trail. Bring your bike and be among the first to ride, or walk at your own pace and take in the scenery. After the fun on the trail, enjoy a complimentary hot dog lunch provided by The Salty Dog Cafe.

🐊 Alligator Breeding Season – Late April through June means alligators are more active. Please keep pets on a leash, stay 60 feet from any alligator, and never feed or approach them.
