For this month’s Member Spotlight, we’re excited to feature HBA of the Lowcountry members Adam Copenhaver and Ben Copenhaver with CopeGrand Homes, who have been selected to lead a Building Knowledge Session at IBS 2027!

The International Builders’ Show (IBS) is one of the largest annual events for residential construction professionals, bringing together builders, remodelers, designers, suppliers and industry leaders from across the country and around the world.

Adam and Ben will present Delivering the Experience: 5 Proven Processes to Create a Repeatable, High-End Client Journey.

“Client experience” is often treated as a philosophy but top-performing builders know it must be operationalized to be repeatable. During their session, Adam and Ben will share five proven processes that turn communication, expectations and ex*****on into a consistent, scalable client journey.

This is an exciting accomplishment, and we can’t wait to see them take the big stage at IBS 2027!

Advocacy continues to be a top priority for the HBA of the Lowcountry. We’re actively working with local governments and industry partners on the issues that matter most to our members—from permitting and inspections to building code interpretations, infrastructure planning, and housing legislation.

Our latest advocacy update covers current work in Charleston County, Hilton Head, and Hardeeville, along with what’s ahead for the Government Relations Committee.
