That's a wrap on August! ☀️🚒

From back-to-school traffic to hot summer days, and everything in between, we're thankful for another month spent serving our neighbors.

As we head toward fall, we'll keep training, answering the call, and doing our part to keep Hindsville safe.

Thanks for always having our backs. ❤️

Brown grass + hot temperatures + wind can be a dangerous combination. 🔥🌾

Before burning brush or debris, always check current conditions and any burn restrictions.

And remember, just because you can burn doesn't always mean you should.

If it's hot, dry, or windy, save it for another day. Your local firefighters will thank you. 😉🚒

Slow down. Move over when you safely can. Put the phone down. Pay attention to the people working along the roadway.

Our firefighters want to help someone else AND make it home safely to their own families when the call is over. ❤️

Could we find YOUR house in an emergency? 🚨

When seconds matter, clearly visible house numbers can make a huge difference, especially on rural roads and driveways.

Make sure your address:
✔️ Can be seen from the road
✔️ Is visible in BOTH directions
✔️ Isn't hidden by weeds, trees, or decorations
✔️ Is reflective or easy to see at night

You know exactly where you live. We may not and we don't want to lose precious time trying to find you

Friendly reminder: You don't have to be fighting a fire to suffer from heat exhaustion.

If you're mowing, working cattle, putting up hay, working outside, or just tackling that never-ending yard project...take the heat seriously. ☀️

💧 Drink water BEFORE you're thirsty
🌳 Take breaks in the shade
👕 Wear lightweight clothing
⚠️ Pay attention to dizziness, nausea, headache, or confusion

Arkansas summers don't play around. Neither should we.

School has started back, which means our roads are a little busier! 🚌✏️

Please slow down, put the phone away, watch for children near bus stops, and NEVER pass a school bus with its red lights flashing.

Those few extra seconds aren't worth someone's life.

Let's help our local kiddos have a safe start to the school year! ❤️
