Our Teaching as a Profession Intro students had a week full of amazing guest speakers! They truly are some of the best professionals the Liberty County School District has to offer.

On Tuesday, Mr. Trey Searles visited our students and shared about his role as a Behavior Coach and Special Education Teacher within our district.

On Wednesday, Mrs. Pamela Farrie, Lead Social Worker for the Liberty County School District, spoke to our students about her role as a school social worker and the important work she does to support students and families.

Today, Mrs. Lakendra Elliot wrapped up our week of guest speakers by discussing her career as a school counselor. She was able to give our students a unique perspective as a counselor who has worked at both the elementary and high school levels.

Joe Packheiser, Southern Location Scout, was at LCCA today looking for potential filming locations for a Paramount Pictures feature film with plans to shoot in 2027.

We are excited about this opportunity to show off our facility in hopes of being part of this exciting venture.

A special thank you to Dr. Sukaratana and Frank Long Elementary School for hosting our Teaching as a Profession Practicum students! Our students had a great first week and are excited for the experiences ahead.

We would also like to thank our amazing FLE mentor teachers for welcoming our students into their classrooms and supporting them as they gain valuable, hands-on experience in the teaching profession. We truly appreciate your partnership!

Nine LCCA associates attended Job Palooza at Enmarket Arena in Savannah today. The event, sponsored by RISE and WorkSource Coastal Georgia provided an opportunity for job seekers to meet with over 100 employers in the region.

Every great teacher begins as a student with a dream, and every journey starts with one brave step forward. Today, our Teaching as a Profession students took that step as they began their first day of Advanced Student Practicum at Frank Long Elementary!

They are not just beginning a practicum. They are beginning the journey of becoming the teachers who will inspire, empower, and shape the next generation.

Intro to Graphic Design students are showing what they have learned so far about the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. Each group was given a work or art and ask to list each element and each principle they see present in their artwork. Then they were asked to come to the board and explain it to their peers.
