A huge thank you to Hingham Animal Control and Girl Scout Troop 83316 for organizing this amazing project. A special shoutout to volunteer mom Jessica McIver, along with Olivia and Mimi, for their wonderful help and dedication. Your hard work is making a real difference for pets and families in our community. We are so grateful! 💛

Good morning, HCAL Friends!

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team! The Hingham Center for Active Living (HCAL) is seeking a Part-Time Medical Driver to help connect community members with the care they need.

If you enjoy friendly conversation, meeting new people, and making a meaningful difference in someone's day, this role could be a perfect fit. The HCAL provides free transportation to medical well-visit appointments in Hingham and surrounding towns. Hours are on an as-needed basis, making this an ideal opportunity for retirees or anyone looking to give back while staying active and engaged.

Requirements:

Must pass a CORI and Driver Record check
Familiarity with Hingham roads and local traffic patterns preferred

What a fun afternoon we had yesterday! The South School Leadership Club hosted an event for our members filled with yummy snacks (thank you Sombreros in Weymouth), games, crafts and puzzles. The room was full of lively chatter and laughter. We love hosting these intergenerational events!
