We, the many volunteers of the Hingham Food Pantry, are deeply saddened by the passing of our much beloved Director Susan Kiernan.

Susan recognized the need for a food pantry thirty-five years ago. She knew then that such a service would support members of the community going through a rough patch, finding retirement on limited funds difficult, or simply making ends meet as a family with young children impossible.

Her commitment to caring for others is an inspiration to us all and we are honored to continue her mission to serve those in need of food assistance.
