We have a few people interested in bringing another book club to the Hinsdale Public Library. This one would be all romance, all the time. It would be on a Tuesday night at 6:30 (just not the 2nd Tuesday of the month!) Today is a first day for the Hinsdale Public Library too! Today we start our new Thursday hours of 3 pm to 6 pm!

IN SEARCH OF: LEGO & DUPLO Bricks for the Library!

We are getting ready to launch a new program for local kids and families, and we need your help building our collection!

If your kids have outgrown their LEGOs or DUPLOs, consider giving those bricks a second life at the library. We are looking for:

Loose LEGO bricks & pieces (any shapes/colors!)

DUPLO blocks for our youngest builders

Baseplates, wheels, windows, and minifigures

(No need for complete sets or manuals—just clean, loose bricks!)

You can drop donations off in the collection bin right inside the library during our normal open hours.

Thank you for helping us create a fun, creative space for our town's young builders!

NEW HOURS!!! We did a trial run of extended hours over the summer by adding hours on Thursday and Saturday. Please note that the Saturday hours will remain as 9:00 am to Noon but we adjusted the hours on Thursday to 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Twice as nice and 1,000 books wiser!

Look who officially finished the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program! We are so proud of these two and loved seeing their journey every step of the way— all the way to 1,000.

A huge shout-out to Mom and Dad, too—cozying up for storytime with twins takes real dedication, and you two are absolute stars for making reading a daily family tradition!

Our next shipment of books borrowed from the NH State Library Large Print Collection has arrived. There’s 3 other books but they went out before we even had a chance to get them all unboxed!
