A Huge Thank You to Chef Venus Britton and UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Hinsdale.

We’re still feeling inspired after this week’s cooking class at the pantry. A heartfelt thank‑you goes out to Chef Venus Britton and the incredible team from Hinsdale Hospital for leading such an engaging session.

Our attendees didn’t just watch — they learned, tasted, and left empowered to recreate the dish at home. Everyone went home with the full recipe and all the ingredients needed to make the meal themselves, helping turn a fun class into a real, practical resource for families.

We’re grateful for partners who believe in nourishing our community with both food and knowledge.

A huge thank‑you to the Clarendon Hills Lions Club for hosting this year’s Babies and Brews baby shower! Your generosity—and the generosity of everyone who attended—filled an entire van with diapers, wipes, and personal care items for the families we serve.

Your support makes an immediate difference for parents doing their best to care for their little ones, and we are so grateful for your partnership.

A special shout‑out to Ross for organizing such a thoughtful and fun event. We couldn’t do this work without community champions like you.

Thank you for showing up for our neighbors in such a big way.

Huge gratitude to Terrific Terri for her incredible work organizing shelf-stable donations. Her energy and heart have helped turn community generosity into real support for families facing hunger. (This area was our kitchen!)

Thank you to everyone who stepped forward with a can, a box, a bag of food, or a financial donation. When a community takes action, hunger loses ground.

It was so awesome to have our college students who are on break, back at Anne M. Jeans last evening. We are lucky and blessed to have such committed and dedicated young people involved in our mission. What a great crew!
