Hinsdale Public Library A full-service library with a small-town heart, located in the hills of beautiful and historic Berkshire County

Founded in 1866, the Hinsdale Public Library has served the small town of Hinsdale, Massachusetts as a library and historical archive for more than a century. The building features a unique blend of Gothic and farmhouse-style architecture designed by Leopold Eidlitz (also responsible for the New York State Capitol in Albany), and still boasts most of the original woodwork. But despite the historic

exterior, the Library has worked hard to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies, and offers free wireless internet, multiple public computers, and an extensive collection of classic and new-release DVD's. Library Director office hours are: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 2-6 PM.

Summer Reading has come to a close! Grand prize raffle winners have been notified. If your child has completed goals in their packet, we will still honor them! Feel free to stop by the library with their packet to redeem prizes for the next few weeks.

DON'T FORGET! If you're participating in our Summer Reading program, your raffle ticket deadline is THIS FRIDAY at the Summer Reading Finale Party! Each bingo on your bingo sheet = 1 raffle ticket. Every 10 points on your points sheet (from book reviews, library visits, etc.) = 1 raffle ticket. Make sure you show your packet to a librarian by the end of the party on Friday to get credit for all of your bingos and reviews! If we do not get an update from you, we will run the raffle with as many tickets as we have on file. Don't worry, if you can't make it to the library this week to redeem all of your goal prizes, we will still honor your earned prizes in the weeks to come. Thank you for making this an AWESOME summer!
