The Hinsdale Fire Department would like to thank all of the generous people out there that donated to our annual Cliff Hastings Memorial Project Feed the Thousands boot drive. This year we were able to collect just over $3100 to go out to those in need in the community.

Good news. The state wide burn ban has been lifted. Anyone with a permit can now enjoy sitting by a fire. Be Safe.

NO FIRES!!! Sorry. After two days of being at a brush fire. The fire ban is back on. These warm days and no rain is a bad combination.

Lifting the fire ban for category 1 fires only. Keep an eye out for changes. This little bit of rain is not going to last long.

Sorry to say we are back in to very high fire danger. At this time we are putting the ban back on for outside fires. Hopefully we get a good soaker soon.

At this time, Category 1 fires ONLY will be permitted. This may change over the weekend and any updates will be posted to this page.
