Today, the Summers County Sheriff’s Department partnered with the Summers County Day Report Center to conduct a community cleanup along the Lawn Road area of Summers County.

The trash pictured was collected from a single illegal dumping site, highlighting the ongoing impact that unlawful dumping has on our community and environment.

We encourage all residents to help keep Summers County clean and beautiful. If you witness illegal dumping or have information about such activity, please report it to local law enforcement authorities. Working together, we can protect our roadsides, waterways, and public spaces for everyone.
