Plymouth County Conservation

Keep up to date on information and activities from your conservation board.

Plymouth County Conservation manages over 2200 acres of recreational and natural lands (15 individual areas) including native and restored prairies, upland forests and river bottom woodlands. Natural areas for picnicking, camping, fishing, hunting, winter sports, bird watching, hiking and equestrian trails are provided in parks throughout the county. Other areas are preserves, as close to their natural state as possible, for many generations to enjoy forever.

Tomorrow Have Nature Will Travel will be in Akron at Akron City Park at 10am-11:30am.
Our naturalists will be at your local park with some family friendly, nature activities. Kids under age 10 need to have supervision.

In this family friendly event, you'll get to experience nighttime in the park. On the hike we'll see fireflies, listen for owls, identify constellations, and end the night around the campfire. The hike will begin at 8:30pm on Thursday, July 23rd.
