This is the final step of their training before their final exam, they got to put weeks of training into practice. Last night our department held its annual Christmas dinner. Congratulations to Zack K for being named Firefighter of the Year 2025 and receiving the Chief David Adkins Memorial Award.

This is also the first year our department has had to move our dinner to a bigger location due to the number of volunteers and family that were attending! We hope to continue this growth and that other departments will see the same.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the volunteers at Summers County VFD.
