THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PERSON IS A PERSON WITH A KIND HEART AND LOVING SOUL AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHO OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR IS!! 🩷

Please help us wish Felisha Hartwell a beautiful birthday! Everyday Felisha goes above and beyond to make sure her staff and their families are loved and the families that call or walk through the doors of REACHH are connected to resources and have what they need. She puts everyone before herself and hardly ever takes a day off. But everyone knows, the smile on a child’s face is one thing that brings her happiness.

REACHH couldn’t do what we do without her!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Felisha Mae!! 🩷💜

We would like to thank everyone for pitching in to allow us to help children get school clothes! Most donations are anonymous and we send our heartfelt gratitude to these donors!

We would also like to thank The First Presbyterian Church of Hinton, First United Methodist Church, Ascension Episcopal Church, Cleo Matthews, and Margaret Burdette!
We would also like to thank folks who dropped cash into our collection bins during Rally on River and the Health Fair we attended Saturday with the Summers County Health Department.

It’s not too late to donate, drop a check or monetary donation off at 411 Temple Street or you can PayPal us at [email protected]

Due to the water shutdown, our staff will be working remotely on Thursday August 16th. Please message our fb page if you need anything.

Two important information notes below:

Potential for severe thunderstorms and localized flooding continues through Friday for Summers County. Please continue to monitior trusted weather sources.

There will be a water shutdown in Downtown Hinton tomorrow (August 13th) from approximately 7am until completion for Hinton (estimating 4 to 6 hours) from the Temple Street Bridge down to the West End at 17th Avenue. This includes Union St, Hill St, James, Ballengee, Temple, and Summers Street and all Avenues off those listed. WV American Water will be performing a valve / hydrant replacement. A boil water advisory for those areas will likely follow the completion of work.

Good information!

Good information!

August is National Breastfeeding Month, a time to recognize and support families on their infant feeding journey.

Breastfeeding has been associated with a lower risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), but every family’s journey is unique. Some families breastfeed, some formula feed, and many do a combination of both.

Whatever your family’s path looks like, you deserve accurate information, encouragement, and support.

If breastfeeding is part of your journey, resources such as WIC, lactation consultants, healthcare providers, and local support groups can help answer questions and provide encouragement along the way.

We are out! We have fresh corn on the porch of REACHH (411 Temple Street).Free just come get it while it lasts.
