This is pretty amazing to see! These headstones are over 100 years old, and after some cleaning and restoration work, they look so much better. It’s a great reminder that every stone tells a story and represents someone who helped shape the history of our community.

A big shoutout to the Madison Township Eternal Rest Association for all the hard work they’re putting into preserving these cemeteries. The difference they’re making is incredible.

Whether you enjoy researching local history, helping with paperwork and organization, restoring headstones, or just getting your hands dirty helping around the cemetery, there’s a place for you.

We are so proud of the new addition to the Hoagland Vol. Fire & EMS emergency fleet! This was made possible because of the residents and taxpayers of our township. Their investment in public safety helps ensure our firefighters have the equipment and resources needed to serve the community effectively.
We look forward to seeing GR-139 serve Madison Township and surrounding areas for many years.

As part of the annual budget process, Madison Township will hold a public hearing to review the proposed 2027 budget. Residents are encouraged to attend, learn more about township operations, and participate in the public review process.

Allen County Commissioner Ron Turpin sat down with Allen County Fire District Chief Jeremy Bush to discuss important updates regarding the Allen County Fire & EMS District- ACFD.
In this podcast, they provide progress updates and share insight into current and future activities that will directly impact the residents of Madison Township and surrounding communities.

Of particular interest to township residents was the discussion about the vital role our volunteer firefighters and medics will have within the new district. Chief Bush emphasized the district's commitment to our volunteers, stating, “..we’re trying to build a system that has volunteers involved in that process and making sure we’re addressing their concerns….everybody is part of this system”.
This commitment reflects the important contributions volunteers continue to make in protecting our community while supporting the growth and sustainability of emergency services across the new district.

As the Allen County Fire & EMS District continues to evolve, Madison Township remains committed to supporting a system that strengthens emergency services while preserving the local volunteer tradition that has long been a cornerstone of our community.
