We are so grateful for the incredible generosity of the Southwest Oklahoma THRIVE community! Over the past few months, this amazing group has been collecting suitcases and backpacks for children in our foster care and host home families.

Today, Athena Jarvis with our Child Care Resource & Referral team, along with Teresa Montgomery, Owner of Nanny T’s and representing the THRIVE community, delivered this gracious donation to support children across Southwest Oklahoma. Kody Suanny, GPYFS Executive Director, and Alicia Kinion, Foster Care & Host Home Specialist, were honored to accept these generous donations on behalf of the children and families we serve.

📚 MATH BOOTCAMP REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! 📚
Great Plains Youth & Family Services,nc. is excited to offer the 2026-2027 Math Bootcamp with Mrs. Misty George for students in 6th-12th grades! This free program provides extra math support to help students strengthen skills, build confidence, and succeed in the classroom throughout the school year.
📍 Location: Western Technology Center - Hobart
⏰ Session Times:
• 7:15 AM - 7:45 AM: All Math (Grades 6-12)
• 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM: 6th & 7th Grade Math
• 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM: Pre-Algebra & Algebra I
• 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM: Algebra II, Geometry & Trigonometry
📅 Sessions will be held throughout both the Fall and Spring semesters. See the attached flyer for the complete schedule.
