Our Brickies have role models everywhere and Mr. Art is definitely one of them! He has courageously been a crossing guard on 10th street for Joan Martin Elementary School for 17 years!! The students celebrated his retirement by making him cards - so sweet! Let's all wish Mr. Art a Happy Retirement! Thank you for all you have done for our Brickies! #BrickieUp

Good Afternoon, Hobart Middle Students, Parents, and Staff,
We are so excited for school to start. We have been planning and preparing for the best school year yet. Just a few notables:
Car riders are to be dropped off at the front of the building by door 19. One of the principals will be outside to direct traffic and students. Drop off time is 7:10 am. Please make sure students have their schedules for their first day. Their schedules not only have their class information, but they also indicate their lunch periods. We will have lunch periods posted in classrooms as well.
If your child does not have a schedule yet, please make sure they report to the gym to pick one up from our guidance department.
Thanks so much parents for partnering with us to make to make sure that this is the best year ever! Have a wonderful evening, and remember, "Take Pride in Yourself and the Brickies!"
