Center For Possibilities-Preschool Friends Improving the quality of life of children and adults with developmental disabilities since 1960.

We provide the following programs and services:
• Toddler Program for children age 2-3 with a developmental disability focused on physical, social and emotional development.
• Preschool Program for children age 3-5 with developmental disabilities geared towards kindergarten preparation with a focus on learning ABC’s, numbers, colors, and spelling along with fine and gross motor development.
• Adu

lt Program for adults age 22 and above with a developmental disability focused on the development of self-care skills, daily living skills and academic advancement.
• Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy to help each enrolled child over the age of 3 develop skills to function to the best of their ability in the areas of gross motor, fine motor and communication skills.
• Family Counseling program provides individual, family and group counseling and information on community resources.
• Summer Camp programs for children with disabilities who are enrolled in other programs that do not offer summer programming.
• Inclusion Summer Camps is partnership with the Hobart Family YMCA and National Inclusion Project to increase inclusion opportunities for children of all abilities.

What a fantastic day to wrap up the school year! Our students families came in with all the support for their kiddos! Our students had their graduation ceremony today some are going to kindergarten, some are moving up to the next class, and some still have some growing to do. We are so proud of each and every one of our students and it is all thanks to their loving families and their amazing teachers that go above and beyond for them! On to summer camp we go!!

We had a fun and educational week here at the center. Our kiddo's explored different aspects of earth via sand play and mud play, and a few of them used their team work skills to help complete puzzles. As we inch closer and closer to the end of the year, it's amazing to see just how far these kiddos have come. We couldn't be prouder of them and our amazing teachers!!

Lots of learning and adapting this week at the Center. We did not get to spend a ton of time outside with the wild weather this week, but they got to explore a lot inside. The kiddo's learned all things spring, St. Patrick's Day, and we are starting to learn about Easter as well. We hope you had a great week as well and have a great weekend as well!

We had a fantastic time at school this week! These kids played so hard and learned so much. We also got a lot of outside play which the teachers and children loved. Our Pre-k class learned about Rosa Parks this week, our preschool class celebrated a friends birthday, and our toddler class explored big books! We hope you had a great week to!
