A shift towards cooler temperatures is expected for much of the CONUS in the near future! The 8-14 day temperature outlook calls for near normal to below-average temperatures everywhere east of California and the Pacific Northwest as troughing becomes established in the east.

Current look at Radars around the area. Mostly rain so far, but to the West & importantly, SW, more and more areas are changing over to snow in Huge area of snow is developing around El Paso Texas. This SW end of the storm system looks be what area will impact us later tonight or/and Sunday.

There might be a little snow trying up in the OK Panhandle and far northern Texas. Other than that, any precip is light rain with a couple of heavior thundershowers down there in N Texas.
After these, you have to go deep into New Mexico at 7:00 AM to find any significant snow falling.
