Is today going to be the day you change your path or let the statistics predict your outcome?

Statistics can predict trends across groups. They can’t measure determination, grit, faith, mentors, moments of clarity, or the thousands of small decisions someone makes when nobody is watching.

What does a second chance look like?

Sometimes it looks like a meal for a family facing hardship.

Sometimes it looks like a hygiene kit that restores dignity and confidence.

Sometimes it looks like clothing for a job interview, a certificate earned through hard work, or support for someone determined to build a better future.

At Helen Houston’s Justice House, we believe second chances aren’t just given—they’re built through opportunity, accountability, support, and a community that cares.

In 2025, 130 individuals enrolled in our programs. Together, we served families, youth, individuals experiencing homelessness, and those working to rebuild their lives after incarceration and other challenges.

Every meal.
Every hygiene kit.
Every class.
Every resource.

It all starts with people willing to invest in hope.

As we prepare for our 4th Annual Helen Houston Memorial Tea Party Fundraiser, we’re looking for Community Partners who want to make a lasting impact right here in Lea County.

Your partnership doesn’t just support an event.

It helps create second chances.

130 individuals enrolled in our programs in 2025

34 recently incarcerated or at-risk individuals served.

Each number represents a person.

A person working to rebuild trust.
A person seeking stability.
A person determined to create a better future.

At Helen Houston’s Justice House, we believe that second chances matter. Through support, resources, accountability, and encouragement, we help individuals take meaningful steps toward lasting change.

In 2025, a total of 130 individuals were enrolled in our programs. Among those served were 58 families, 22 youth, 16 individuals experiencing homelessness, and 34 recently incarcerated or at-risk individuals—meeting people where they are and helping them move forward.

Because when people have the opportunity to rebuild, our entire community grows stronger.

We’re seeking community partners who believe in hope, healing, and second chances.

Together, we can continue changing lives right here in Lea County.
