It was an inspiring evening dedicated to raising awareness, supporting children, and standing together as a community committed to protecting our most vulnerable. Events like this remind us that prevention starts with all of us.

CASA was honored to attend the Safe Haven Baby Box Opening in Lovington, NM on April 20, 2026. 💙 This important addition provides a safe, anonymous option for parents in crisis while helping protect the most vulnerable in our community.

Also in attendance was the very first baby placed in a Safe Haven Baby Box in Lea County—now thriving and successfully adopted by a loving family. A powerful reminder that these boxes truly work and save lives.

Our CASA of Lea County team will be there, and we’d love for you to stop by and say hello! Come meet some of our CASA Advocacy and Family Time staff, learn more about what we do, and how we work every day to change a child’s story.

There will be vendors, food, games, and activities for the whole family—plus a great opportunity to connect with our community while standing together for our children.

Huge thanks to Jerb’s Custom Jewelry and the Brunson family for their incredible generosity and support! Your donation of a stunning 1.00 ct diamond made a meaningful impact at CASA’s Boots & Bling event. We are so grateful to have you in our corner! 💎🤍

CASA's Boots & Bling 2026 fundraiser was a success! Jerb's was able to help CASA raise $10,000 by selling 100 glasses of champagne. Each glass purchased had a gemstone in the bottom, but most importantly, put the buyer in the drawing to win a 1.00 ct Round, Brilliant Cut Natural Diamond, GIA Certified H, SI2, with Excellent cut, polish and symmetry.
